The attenuation of signal in transmission line is caused by distributed capacitance and distributed inductance in transmission line. The attenuation of coaxial cable is related to frequency, with the increase of frequency, the inductance of series inductors will increase, and the capacitance resistance of shunt capacitors will decrease. When the signal is transmitted in the cable, after a certain distance, the signal will become weaker and weaker. The attenuation of the signal will become attenuation.
